Fairy lantern fine ink study
FinelinerChallenging

A small seated dragon in three-quarter view, four coherent limbs with natural overlap, two raised wings, small horns and one complete curling tail. Practice form, overlap and selective shading in graphite.
Block in the head, chest and seated haunch.
Attach the limbs, raised wings and continuous tail.
Use selective interior marks and local shadow groups to explain the overlaps. Keep the lighter planes open rather than shading every surface.
A small thing to tryConnect every wing and limb to the body before decorating it.
