A way into the drawing

  1. Taper the body

    Draw a tall rounded body that narrows into the pointed nose. Keep its center line upright and leave room below for the fins.

  2. Place the fins and window

    Attach the visible side fins and a short lower fin. Draw a circular porthole with a second line for its rim.

  3. Show the rounded form

    Add the nose seam, base band, a curved panel line, and a small window reflection. Place a few small rivet marks and light gray accents on the body and fins.
