Orbital satellite marker study

One compact orbital satellite in three-quarter view, central box body, two rectangular solar panels and a small dish antenna. Practice structure, perspective and developed values in black and gray marker.

A way into the drawing

1. Establish the main shapes

Construct the central box and two panel planes.

2. Connect the structure

Join both panels with short arms and attach the dish.

3. Develop the drawing

Resolve the connected planes and overlaps, then build layered details and a full range of local values. Preserve clear paper highlights.

A small thing to tryKeep the panels attached to opposite sides of the body.
