Space capsule fine ink study

One complete small orbital space capsule in three-quarter view, rounded conical crew cabin, one round window, cylindrical lower service module and two short side antennae. Clear connected forms and a few local shadows, no scenery. Practice clear volume and restrained local shadows in fineliner.

A way into the drawing

1. Set the capsule volumes

   Draw a rounded cone above a short service-module cylinder.

2. Connect the small structures

   Fit one round window to the cabin and attach two short antennae at its sides.

3. Add local shadows

   Place a few small gray shadows at the module joins and beneath the window rim. Keep the cabin surface mostly open.
