Tricycle fine ink study
FinelinerMedium

One small sailboat in three-quarter view, single hull, one mast and two triangular sails attached to that mast, no water or scenery. Practice form, overlap and selective shading in fine ink.
Draw the hull and upright mast.
Attach two sails and align their lower edges with the boat.
Use selective interior marks and local shadow groups to explain the overlaps. Keep the lighter planes open rather than shading every surface.
A small thing to tryKeep the mast rooted inside the hull.
