A mouse with a curled tail

Build a little mouse from a low body, rounded ears, and a long curling tail. A few whiskers and soft gray accents give it character.

A way into the drawing

  1. Block in the body

Draw a low rounded body and a smaller tapered head. Keep the nose close to the ground and leave space behind for the tail.

  2. Place the ears and paws

Add two rounded ears, with the far ear partly hidden. Place the short visible paws beneath the body, then draw the tail in one loose curve.

  3. Choose a few details

Place the eye, nose, and whiskers. Add a few loose fur tufts and a little gray inside the ears and under the belly, leaving the back mostly open.

A small thing to tryDraw the tail from your elbow in one relaxed movement. It does not need to form a perfect spiral.
