A way into the drawing

  1. Find the big shapes

Lightly place a large tilted oval for the body and a smaller oval for the head. Leave room above for the ears.

  2. Connect the silhouette

Join the head to the rounded back. Add the long ears, a curved haunch, and the small paws touching the ground.

  3. Choose a few details

Place the eye and nose, then use short marks at the cheek and chest. Shade beneath the belly with the side of the pencil.

A small thing to tryKeep the back as one broad curve. A few fur marks at the edges suggest softness without covering the whole rabbit.
