Half an avocado with its round pit

Sketch a pear-shaped avocado half with a round pit and a narrow rind. A small pit shadow and a few edge marks create depth without realistic skin texture.

A way into the drawing

1. Draw the pear-shaped half

   Make a broad rounded base narrowing toward the top. Add a narrow side edge to show the rind’s thickness.

2. Set the pit in its cavity

   Place a round pit in the wider part and curve a simple cavity line around its base. Let the pit hide part of that line.

3. Keep the accents local

   Keep the pit mostly open paper and add one small gray crescent along its lower-right edge. A few rind marks are enough for the outer edge.
