A way into the drawing

  1. Round the jug body

    Draw a rounded belly that narrows toward the rim. Add a small foot beneath it.

  2. Pinch the pouring rim

    Shape the top ellipse and pull one side into a short spout. Keep the rim opening readable.

  3. Attach the curved handle

    Join a broad handle to the upper and lower body. Use graphite inside the rim and at the handle roots.
