Headphones with soft rounded ear pads

Practice an arched headband and two rounded earcups viewed from different angles. One cushion opening faces you while the nearer cup shows its outer shell; plain connectors and small shadows clarify their attachments.

A way into the drawing

  1. Arch the headband

    Draw a broad curved band with enough space beneath it for the two earcups.

  2. Place the earcups

    Attach two oval cups at the ends. Make the nearer cup slightly larger and show simple connectors.

  3. Show the cushion and outer shell

    Draw the far cushion opening and the nearer cup’s plain outer face. Use small gray at cushion edges and the inner headband, leaving the broad surfaces open.
