A way into the drawing

Make the cap
Draw a wide upside-down bowl shape. Join its ends with one gently curved line.
Add the stem
Draw two short lines below the middle of the cap and round them together at the bottom.
Place five spots
Add five loose circles inside the cap. Leave the rest of the drawing unshaded.

A small thing to tryThe spots do not need to match. Keep them large enough to draw with one relaxed loop.
