A way into the drawing

  1. Make an uneven round shape

Draw a soft round outline with a small dip at the top. Avoid making both sides exactly equal.

  2. Curve the peach crease

Start the crease near the stalk and let it follow the rounded surface. Fade it before it reaches the lower edge.

  3. Add the stalk and leaf

Place a short stalk and one curved leaf with a few vein lines. A tiny accent at the stalk base and a small contact shadow are enough; leave the fruit surface open.

A small thing to tryKeep the crease lighter than the outside contour. A heavy line can make the peach look split in half.
