A single strawberry

A softly rounded triangle, a leafy top, and a few tiny seeds. This single strawberry is a small exercise in simple pencil outlines.

A way into the drawing

1. Round the triangle

   Draw a broad rounded top and curve both sides down to a soft point.

2. Sketch the leafy top

   Add two pointed leaves that spread over the top edge, then a short curved stem.

3. Add a few seeds

   Place seven short pencil dashes inside the berry. Leave plenty of empty space between them.

A small thing to tryKeep the seed marks light and sparse. There is no need to fill every space.
