A triangular sandwich with a loose filling

Build a sandwich from two thick triangular bread slices. A single wavy lettuce edge and a plain filling layer give you a clear exercise in stacked forms.

A way into the drawing

  1. Build the two bread triangles

Draw the top triangle in perspective and add a narrow side for thickness. Place a second matching slice below it.

  2. Layer the filling

Fit one plain filling strip and one wavy lettuce edge between the slices. Hide their rear edges beneath the bread.

  3. Keep the bread faces open

Add a few isolated crumb marks on the top slice. Use gray in the narrow wavy filling strip to clarify the stack, leaving the broad bread faces plain.

A small thing to tryKeep the two slices pointing in the same direction so the sandwich feels like one stacked form.
